Lifestyle Headshots for deborahannphotography!

This post is about so much more than just showing you some beautiful photos of my beautiful friend Debbie. This post is the epitome of what celebrating in each other's success, joining in community with those who others might think you should be in competition with, and partnering instead of tearing each other down is all about!

I have been richly blessed to know Debbie these past few months. God brought us together through a shootsac and we have become great friends. She has opened up my world to New Jersey and I have opened her world up to many new and exciting things including Squarespace and Photomechanic!!

Debbie wanted to show me a few of her favorite places to shoot and I was totally down because I needed some great locations in my back pocket and the places she showed me did NOT disappoint. Despite the COLD and the fact that everything was brown and dried up, everywhere we went was still pretty amazingly gorgeous!!

We decided to have some fun and photograph each other while we were out and about for some new headshots and well...to have fun! Because that is what we photographers do!

Despite Debbie's hesitation and nervousness about being photographed, I think you can tell from the below photos that she actually had a pretty good time!! She spun around and everything!!

She is a gorgeous woman and child of God and the light within her radiates so beautifully. She is an amazing person and I am utterly blessed to know her and call her a friend!

Frank and Danielle // Married

For a wedding in February in New Jersey, you could not have asked for a more perfect day! I had the absolute pleasure of 2nd shooting with Laura from Laura Lee Photography for Danielle and Frank's wedding in late February and it was such a great experience!

First of all there apparently were like 16 Frank's running around this wedding including the groom and the groom's dad! Since my dad's name is Frank I felt an instant connection. Its not a name you hear very much anymore! I hung out with the guys for a bit and then headed to the church to take some group photos of them before the beautiful ceremony  at St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church.

After that we all headed to a nearby park for some bridal party portraits and despite the COLD, the light was LEGIT. Everyone looked so beautiful and they were all such troopers out there in the cold, especially Danielle! She looked so gorgeous though and you could just see the love radiating between her and Frank!

The reception took place at Seasons Catering and was an amazing party! The cocktail hour was insanely awesome and the band kept everyone on their feet. The sweetest part of the night was when Danielle's dad got up and made everyone in the room cry when he was talking about his little girl and when he actually became a dad. Then he showed a video of Danielle throughout her childhood as a surprise. It was so beautiful!

It was an amazing day and I was so grateful and thankful to be a part of it with Laura! Congrats to the happy couple!

Check out Laura's blog post for info on all the vendors for the day!
