Erica + Ian // Indian Trail Club Wedding

Oh my goodness I don't even know where to begin with this amazing wedding I got to be a part of at the Indian Trail Club back in late August. I guess we could start at the beginning? That's always a good place right?

It was going to be a HOT, HOT day. BUT the beautiful outdoor ceremony for Erica and Ian would be by the lake with a cool breeze rolling through. I showed up to the hotel to photograph Ian and his ten, yes TEN groomsmen and let me tell you, I have never seen so many man-buns in my life!! It was awesome. All of the guys were gracious and funny and were just having a good time preparing for their good friends big day!

And their superhero socks? Get outta here! Loved them!

We headed over to the lake club and the guys spent time hanging out until it was time for the ceremony! I synced up with Amy and Mekina and we got venue shots, bridal party shots and ceremony shots all while ducking back inside now and then to cool off under the amazing AC!

The ceremony was one of my favorites ever. I absolutely loved the small signs that went down the aisle that had the words from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 written on them. SO sweet! And the beautiful ceremony where Erica and Ian made their covenant before God, friends and family gave me chills and I may or may not have shed a few tears.

After that, everyone partied and danced the night away and I manned the photo booth and got so many fun shots of the guests, bridal party and the bride and groom having such a fun time celebrating! Go check out Amy's post to see the full story of the day and enjoy some of the shots I took below!

Glen + Alyssa // Engaged

Sussex County Sunflower Maze Engagement Session North New Jersey

When Alyssa first suggested engagement photos at a sunflower field, it solidified the fact that these two are exactly the kind of couple that I loooove working with. I pretty much already knew this, but roaming around the Sussex County Sunflower Maze with Alyssa and Glen and their sweet lil gal Chloe made me even more excited for their 2017 wedding!

These two are fun, relaxed and just overall awesome people to be around. The fact that they are obsessed with their dog made me instantly fall in love with them both. HA! We met on a perfect Saturday afternoon for their session. The morning was super cloudy but by the time the late afternoon had rolled around there was literally not a cloud in the sky. And the temps were manageable too which was awesome considering what a warm summer it has been.

The sunflower maze was at the end of its peak but we still got to see so many beautiful flowers, some of which were literally like 15 feet tall!! It was crazy how big they were! We had a great time exploring all of the different areas of the fields and little Chloe had such a great time following mom and dad around and getting lots of attention (and pets!) by all of the other people there that day.

Alyssa and Glen were so great to work with and nailed every posing prompt I gave them. I swear they practiced beforehand because they just rocked it out so well. I love that we got so many great shots of Chloe as well (bringing Paul and a bag of milk bones definitely helped with that!) and I am super stoked for their wedding in November of next year right down the street from my house at Davids Country Inn. It is going to be a fantastic time and I can't wait to celebrate with them!!
