Maureen + Steve // Intimate Outdoor New Jersey Wedding

Maureen and Steve are two of the sweetest people Paul and I have met here in New Jersey. It was such a pleasure and honor to be there with them and their friends and family at their intimate wedding under a gazebo in Milburn, NJ. There was a threat of rain all week, but the day ended up being perfect without a drop of rain in site. Even if there was, I don't think it would have dampened this celebration anyway!

Maureen and her son DJ have found their forever family with Steve and watching them start their family unit was so incredibly special. They were surrounded by closest friends and family who watched as they said yes to each other forever. My favorite part of the ceremony was where they passed their rings around to all of the guests for them to bless the rings with their prayers and love before they put the rings on each other. So special!! I absolutely loved that. 

Steve's vows were about three pages long (or close!!!) and he had everyone laughing and crying. At one point he grabbed Maureen's hand and put it over his heart and I am pretty sure everyone just about lost it. After they had their kiss and were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Russell, they headed out of the gazebo with incredible emotion and a sparkle in their eyes. They did it!! Finally they were husband and wife. YAY!! 

They spent some time welcoming everyone and then while we did some photos, the guests headed over to the party at the Moonshine Supper Club in Milburn, NJ. What a fun party! Everyone danced and snacked on finger foods and had a fantastic time. 

Even though our time with Maureen and Steve (and DJ) was short, they impacted us greatly. I am absolutely in love how these images document their most special day as a family and I look forward to seeing their family continue to grow in love! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Russell!!

Erica + Ian // Indian Trail Club Wedding

Oh my goodness I don't even know where to begin with this amazing wedding I got to be a part of at the Indian Trail Club back in late August. I guess we could start at the beginning? That's always a good place right?

It was going to be a HOT, HOT day. BUT the beautiful outdoor ceremony for Erica and Ian would be by the lake with a cool breeze rolling through. I showed up to the hotel to photograph Ian and his ten, yes TEN groomsmen and let me tell you, I have never seen so many man-buns in my life!! It was awesome. All of the guys were gracious and funny and were just having a good time preparing for their good friends big day! 

And their superhero socks? Get outta here! Loved them!

We headed over to the lake club and the guys spent time hanging out until it was time for the ceremony! I synced up with Amy and Mekina and we got venue shots, bridal party shots and ceremony shots all while ducking back inside now and then to cool off under the amazing AC!

The ceremony was one of my favorites ever. I absolutely loved the small signs that went down the aisle that had the words from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 written on them. SO sweet! And the beautiful ceremony where Erica and Ian made their covenant before God, friends and family gave me chills and I may or may not have shed a few tears. 

After that, everyone partied and danced the night away and I manned the photo booth and got so many fun shots of the guests, bridal party and the bride and groom having such a fun time celebrating! Go check out Amy's post to see the full story of the day and enjoy some of the shots I took below!
