Keith + Kellie // A North New Jersey Firehouse Wedding

In early August of this year, I had the pleasure of 2nd shooting for Mackenzie Lane Photography for this sweet and romantic wedding that took place at a gorgeous church in Morristown and then moved on over to the Mt. Freedom Fire Station in Randolph! It was such a fun day!

The theme of this wedding was Starry Night and the DIY details that were brought together to show this theme were amazing. I got to shoot the guys getting ready at the fire station (Keith is a Firefighter who works there!) and all of the guys were so great to work with. I consider myself so blessed to work with so many other photographers who have so many awesome couples!

After that, we headed to the United Methodist Church in Morristown for the ceremony and then went to the Frelinghuysen Arboretum for photos. We almost didn't get to go there because a crazy unexpected torrential downpour occurred right as we were about to leave! But just in the knick of time the clouds parted, the rain cleared and we were able to get to the park for some bridal party shots and bride and groom portraits.

Don't forget to check out Mackenzie's post for a full story of their day!

Lauren + Patrick // Budd Lake, NJ Wedding

I am so excited to share another wedding that I 2nd shot for earlier this summer right here in my own town of Budd Lake! Being out of town for most of July and also having my own weddings at the end of July, its been non-stop for a while and I haven't had a chance to share this one yet!

It was a gorgeous day right before the 4th and I was so excited to help Laura out with this one mainly because part of the day was happening right in my neck of the woods. The church where Lauren and Patrick got married is literally right down the street from my house and the park we headed to afterward for photos is right near where Paul works. So often when I'm 2nd shooting weddings, I'm driving and hour plus to get to wherever we were shooting, so being someplace that was nearby was a nice change!

Everything about this wedding was awesome. The weather was perfect, the bridal party was super fun and easy to work with and the families and guests had a great time partying it up at the reception. We even had a funny experience when shooting at the park where Laura basically jumped in the lake to get the shot and then got yelled at over the loudspeaker! And I have photos to prove it!

I love that I was able to assist Laura with this one and for even more from this wedding go check out her blog post as well to see the FULL story from their day!
